Conference Format

The conference will take place exclusively in person. The venue is the Madaba campus of the German Jordanian University, located near the city of Madaba, Jordan.

Registration Deadlines

  • Conference Registration: September 30, 2025

  • Abstract Submission: August 31, 2025

  • Registration for the Conference Dinner on December 2, 2025: November 15, 2025

  • Registration for the Trip to Petra on December 5, 2025: November 15, 2025

Publication Opportunities

Selected contributions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process and will be published in a conference proceedings volume. Publication details will be announced in due course after discussions with publishers.

Duration of Presentations / Workshops

  • Keynote Speeches: 45 minutes, plus 15 minutes for Q&A

  • Presentations: 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for Q&A

  • Workshops: 90 minutes

Conference Room Equipment

All rooms are equipped with computers and projectors. However, the rooms cannot be fully darkened, so please avoid using overly bright colors in your slides.

Will Conference Attendees Be Picked Up from the Airport?

Some hotels in Madaba offer airport pick-up services. Otherwise, attendees are responsible for their own transportation to Madaba or Amman (see venue details).

Are There Conference Participation Fees?

No, participation in the conference is free of charge.

Will Travel and Accommodation Costs Be Covered?

No, due to our limited budget, we cannot cover any travel or accommodation expenses.

Food and Beverage During the Conference

Hotels provide breakfast. During the conference, lunch, coffee, tea, water, and snacks will be available. The conference dinner will be held at the Abu Jaber Caves on December 2, and you can participate for 35 Jordanian Dinars. For dinner, attendees are responsible for their own arrangements. Recommended nearby restaurants include Ayar Restaurant, Carob House, Hared Jdoudna Restaurant, and Ayola Restaurant.
