Conference Dinner

The conference dinner on December 2nd will take place in the historic Abu Jaber Caves east of Amman. These unique, man-made caves and tunnels offer a fascinating glimpse into Jordan’s ancient history. They were discovered in 1986 by Asi Abu Jaber, who found the caves on his property. Archaeological findings suggest that the caves were once used as dwellings, storage spaces, and possibly even as religious sites by Greek and Roman settlers. During this special dinner, participants will have the chance to enjoy Jordanian cuisine while also immersing themselves in the history and culture of the country.

The site also houses a private collection of about 3,900 ancient artifacts and cultural treasures from the Roman, Islamic, and Ottoman periods – including sarcophagi, columns, statues, clay jars, coins, and weapons. It is thus the largest private museum in the country.
