Welcome to the 4th International Conference in the series "Focus on German as a Foreign Language/German as a Second Language - Current Trends in Research and Teaching"

The conference series “Focus on German as a Foreign Language/German as a Second Language – Current Trends in Research and Teaching” is an international meeting for educators, researchers, doctoral candidates, and master’s students, as well as cultural institutions involved in teaching German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and German as a Second Language (DaZ). Contributions from internationally renowned university professors, experienced trainers, and innovative practitioners address forward-thinking topics at the intersection of language teaching, language learning research, and language mediation. By presenting modern scientific and didactic-methodological approaches in the field of DaF/DaZ, the conference provides experts with a platform for professional exchange and offers educators opportunities for further training in teaching German as a Foreign or Second Language.
